Cousins

Earlier this past summer, my brother surprised us with a visit. It was a surprise because he lives in Whitehorse, Yukon and we live in Ottawa, Ontario. The purpose of the visit was for us to meet his new son - Alexander. We had the privilege of seeing Alexander and his parents for about 3 weeks. During their visit I was able to get a number of great shots of Alexander and various other family members. Here he is with his cousin, my sister's eldest daughter.

My number 4 child and number 3 daughter. The baby of the family. She often graces me with this look. This particular time was when we were at an Open House in July 2011 for Almosta Farm in Renfrew, Ontario. Beautiful sunshine, beautiful location, and beautiful subject!



This picture was entered in the September 2011 I Heart Faces People's Choice contest. I didn't make the cut, but that is okay as it was my first time entering.

My number 3 child and number 1 son. He tolerates (sometimes) his mother's attempts to get a decent photo of him. I love how curly his hair is here. Not so sure about the bush on his chin. This was taken last week in Quebec after returning his sister back to school for her second year at Capernwray Quebec.

My number 2 daughter. She's more shy around cameras than her siblings, but hopefully I will be able to get more cooperation from her in the future. This was taken in the Summer of 2011, during her time off from working in the kitchen at Camp IAWAH

One of my most favourite subjects to photograph! This was taken Summer 2011 during her time off from her job as Head Lifeguard at Camp IAWAH
